Monte Verde, El Salvador – Subscription
From: $14.26 / week
chocolate wafer, tootsie roll, silky body
The Contreras family has been farming in Monte Verde since 1915, and since then they have been cultivating varieties of Bourbon and Pacas coffees. The farm consists of five plots and is located in the Department of Santa Ana, Candelaria de la Frontera right along the El Chingo volcano. The combination of the soil and location produces wonderfully developed coffees, and with their washed, honey and natural processes, they are able to coax out different flavors that highlight the citrus, floral, berry, nutty and chocolate notes.
We're very proud to have a direct relationship with the Contreras family and look forward to supporting them and their full time employees on an ongoing basis. To learn more about my trip to Monte Verde visit our blog page.
